i read somewhere that the fuel mileage for a Lanos wasn,t great for a small car somewhere around 34 miles per gallon .Well mines a 2000 a 5 speed and i,m getting 45 miles a gallon is this usual . Believe me i,m not complaining.
I travel only on highway, with light mods like intake/exhaust. The best I've gotten was 35mpg... keep in mind that's all highway miles. It's also 5spd sport edition.
I'm getting about 25-30 on my automatic lanos but I'm driving with A/C most of the time during the summer months. I also installed a better air intake filter which improved. Is there anyway to improve even more?
