For some time the fuel gauge hasn't worked on my 00 Lanos hatch 1.6L. Found a TSB on the problem got the part which was the fuel level sensor had it replaced last week and it still doesn't work. What could the problem be?
The mechanic who replaced the part can't look at the car again until later on this week I just want to have an idea of what to tell him what to look for. Is it possible that the gauge is broke it's stuck on 3/4 of a tank or just a little below when I disconnect the battery stays in the same place. It's been stuck on 3/4 for a lil over a year and I'm tired of not knowing how much fuel I have. Please help!
