Optra 5/Reno DRL HID Q

OK so the missus Optra 5 burnt a headlight bulb, and I decided that it would be good to switch to HIDs. Now the main question is, is there a way to dissable the DRLs? I know I could ground the wire at the parking brake, but she would be bitching about the light in the dash. Is it possible to just disconnect the DRL module? Do the Renos have DRLs?

found the thread, thanks! Is there a trick or easy way to get that conector off thou? So far all I have for my efforts id a hand that looks like good beef!

I haven't actually looked into doing this yet myself so I don't even know what you're talking about

the tab for the release is against the outside of the car and is a real beyotch to get at.
