Help! window stuck!

I need some help! My drivers side window wont wind up or down! wen i try it makes very loud crunchin noises??
I made the mistake yesterday of tryin 2 wind it down, it crunched and fell down about an inch and now i cant get it back up!! or down!!

Any suggestions? please bear in mind im a woman! lol

probably something wrong with the mechanical componets of the window... got to remove the door panel to inspect the parts.

if it is manual operated then look for the wires if they are stretched and if any pullies are broken or displaced... maybe a few pics for the mechanism will help us guide you to what is actually wrong.

if it is electrical then i am not too sure were to look... again pics will be a great help for us to decide.
