My new Battery - Optima Blue Top 34M - fits in the stock battery tray JUST so i was thrilled!
Yes it's a marine battery  but the specs are awesome! Car starts easier and has a higher/more constant voltage when the engine is off.

Thanks man.

The PWS fluid isnt that low - its well above min - it swells up to max nice once the engine is running.
Thanks for the waring sir :)

Wow... Your engine bay is so well maintained. Excellent. I don't know that my engine bay will ever be that nice. :( Though I have a DOHC with a faulty oil cap. :(

don't worry johnny you aren't the only one, my oil leaks out from the cap all of the time and I can never seem to get it to stop.

and tim very nice how much did that batterey run you and is it a deep cycle(i think that is what it is) like the yellow or red top?

The battery is both a deep cycle and excellent starter battery (has a very high cold cranking amps rating). They had a red top in stock, but this blue top had better specs since it had both features which is what i really needed. Normally batteries are really good deep cycle or really good starters witha high CCA rating.

I payed $370AU - the guy threw in new terminals at that price, installed it for me because i was lazy :smt098 and disposed of my old battery too.

Thats an ok price I found - not that low, but finding someone in Australia who had any Optimas in stock was the problem!

Good idea with the battery, and I complement you on one of the cleanest engine bays I have every seen on a Daewoo in my life.

I wish mine was as clean. I'm to the point where I'm afraid to open my hood for fear that a troll might jump out.
