all in one dvd player or dvd play + head unit

just wondering what would be the best way to go..

i already have the screen so i dont need that

they have the all in one dvd players head unit with out screens..

or should i get a dvd player and a head unit??

got any recomendations??

yeah..

well im going to put the screen where the the original spot for the cd player is and put a "disk player" down in the center consol about where the the cigarette lighter was.. all molded out of fiberglass.

or.. ill put the screen in the spot of the passenger airbag and put the 2 or 1 "disk player(s)" in the orignal spot undecided on that

why not put the screen where the oem headunit was and move the unit down one spot?

the screen is a 7" tft standard screen.. so it would take up the entire 2 dins

It would be ultra cool if it automatically would slide out and fold up out of a housing in the airbag area... so it would be all hidden from prying eyes should someone be trying to decide if they were going to break in and steal it.

i cant afford the auto all in one setups..

so far all i have seen is horrible looking all in one units w/o screens... dont think they would last more then 2 uses..

i was looking at getting something like this for my head unit

but if i get a dvd player. it will play mp3s also so i might as well go with a really decent cd player and a dvd/mp3 player

I personally want the DVD headdeck so I can make dvds with mp3s on them... DROOL

Three or four DVDs and I'd have my entire music collection avail... or maybe 5. Instead of like 30 CDs.

i havnt seen any decent all in one dvd players yet.. so i think ill just get either that kenwood i posted or something like it.. then ill get a dvd deck for all my dvd uses

this is prolly the best one i have seen yet.. for the price

I have a Clarion all in one DVD.

Kenwood is very good brand too!
