i think the fronts are even smaller than 5....i think maybe 4.5? and the rears are some kinda small oval, i think they are 6x4 (not sure tho)

i fitted 6.5 comps in my woo, just cut the door up a bit. well worth it.

The fronts are 4" and the rears are 4x6" oval.

I made adapter rings and now have 6.5" in the doors and tweeters on the dash with no rear speakers. The back of the car has the subwoofer.

For very good sound quality, rear speakers are not a good idea; they ruin the sound stage imaging, unless you have a head unit (CD/FM radio) with sound stage time correction. I know Alpine has a few units with time correction, and I think Pioneer has some, also.

With many units you could just disable the rear speakers.

Thanks for replies guys.

yeh i replaced my door speakers with 6" alpine type r, and installed two alpine type r 6x9's in the rear parcel shelf aswell as having an alpine mp3 head unit. sounds mint. sounds like i have a sub in the boot with my 6x9's which is awesome. all i need now is better insulation for the doors to stop plastic vibration and get new window winders that dont vibrate due to excessive sound pressure lol.
