Woofer box

my 700w 15 woofer installed in a very big box for a 15 inch woofer resizing the box to smaller size will help in better sound or big box is better ?

rule of thumb with speaker box size is if its a 15 inch woofer you would want a box with 1.5 cubic foot of air space. or say if you had a 12 or 10 inch sub you would want 1.2 or 1.0 cubic feet of air space. hope that clears things up.

that's not exactly correct. It all depends on the subwoofer. Check the specs on your sub to see what the correct firing chamber volume should be.

well until recently i've been dealing with nothing but kickers so that might just apply to that. but yeah definately get the specs off of the box.
