Problem with projectors.

Post by mocpac »

I receive yesterday the PROJECTORS. I connect them to the car and ahhhhrggg.... the projector don't turn on. The hight beam turn on and the signals. Is not a problem with the projector aparently, the hight beem turn on when I turn on the signals and stay on when a tur on the lowbwm and when I turn one hte hight.

I chk the plugs. The nubira plug have 5 wires like the projectors but the regular lights just have 3. So the regular light do not use 2 wires. But they are there and work fine.... So whats the problem with the projectors if that 2 estra cables are for them?

Any help here?

PD
By the way they look awesome.

I think the projectors in corea are the correc lights in the nubi like the leganza. When they bring it to america or when thay export it from korea they cahgne it to 1 light low and hight. so thay cahnge the wires.

You could check with the mutlimeter, which connector prong is for what (low beam, high beam, turn).

Use the old headlamps to determine the plugs. Then, with the new ones, do the same. You may have to change over wires. Pics are always great too!! :D

If there is still a problem, post the details and we will figure it out.

I am glad they arrived safe and sound.

yes... it sounds so much like miss matched wiring pattern... you got to customize your wires to be compatable with the head lights you got, it is a no big deal for a guy with some electrical knowledge.

Ok thanks to rusty2k and his expertice in electricity we resolve the problem.

We start checking the pos and the neg. in the 3 positions, signals, low and hight. Then we make a diagram. Analice wich cable move and where...

At the end Rusty2k say hey

-Gary the projectors no have light bulbs...
-WHAT!!!!!!!!!.....

so we stop at pepboy and buy a set of h1 (h3 out of stock) and now I have half of the lights... :? Tomorrow I will buy the Silvania Silver Star h3.

Stupid me...

see the diference between the delux lights and the hight beam silvani silverstar... They look white but the flash make them yellow.

but they are real bright

That's like buying seats with no car around them and wondering why you aren't going anywhere. LOL
