Removing radio in Leganza

Post by chefrobert »

Has anyone done this.? My question is how is the surrouns trim attached?
I know the radio has 4 screws attaching it to dash but it is hidden by the trim piece. Does it just pry off or are there hidden screws somewhere/

Many Thanks!

Radio Removal solved EASY!

Post by chefrobert »

I found a site called radio removal.com! Anyway I had to pay $ 2.99 but I had peace of mind. Beauty trim around radio is just held on by pressure clips. I removed by wedging a butter knife into the crack. Once that is out of way just 4 screws hold it in. Not a very theft resistant radio as I am confident I could pull it in about 30 seconds! The plus side is that they dont do 1000$ worth of damage to your dash when they steal it.

Same thing with a Lanos... I didn't know about Leganza, that's why I didn't reply.

I have been gone all day, but had I seen the post sooner, I'd have taken photos and shown you, step by step so you would not have to pay any money.

PLEASE!!! Don't pay any more money for instructions like that!!
Ask and wait a couple days; someone is bound to know. As a combined community, we have done just about everything to our Daewoo cars and can answer just about anything.
