tachometer install

Post by taka »

Hi, guys. I need some help for install the tachometer.
After I installed the tachometer, it looked working, but the tachometer only moved between 0 and 1000 RPM. Also, somehow, the high beam doesn't work... (normal lights work though), and airbag lump is always on. I don't think this is normal. So if you guys have any idea, please tell me. Thanks.

I put power suply for tachometer from the fuse box, and ECM/PCM for engine revolution. I hooked up the illiminaion light from the interpanel light control, which is located left of the handle. One more wire for underground. Do you think I did correctly??

Man, you probably messed it all up... the way I did it was, I connected all 3 wires (power, ground, lights) to my cd player wires, and connected the signal wire to the Green wire with Black stripe on the ECU behind the passenger seat.

Hi, thanks for the advice.
Your way to install the tacho is pretty similar to mine except wires for the power supply. I should check those again.
Again, Thanks :D
