Fool thieves! Fake radio face. PICS!

Post by TheGreatAndPowerfulOz »

My car has been broken into a few times, and I am sick of it.
I figured the best theft deterrent is to make a thief not WANT to break in!
Stealth is the key.

So, check out what I did.

Enjoy!

I recently learned that most thiefs dont steal radio stuff anymore.. they steal yoru registration and stuff, or at least copy it down

After a closer look... I see the remote left on the center console, always remember to put it in an invisible spot to avoid raising thieves curiosity.

BTW where were your dogs when they broke into your car??

The remote is to my Sirius satellite radio which any thief will see an umpty dock on the dash because the radio is removed and is taken with me.

The last two places my car was broken into was not at home. One was in Virginia Beach and the other was in Hampton. Both both places are more than an hour drive from my house. It was also before I had any of the dogs. :)

BUMP - some new members may not have seen this and may like to do something similar to help protect their stereo investment. :)

excellent!

I am actually going to a scrap yard later on today to find some spare parts for my car (front grille, etc) and some more stuff for my frend's renault clio. (that thing is battered up like mad!! needs more than just TLC!)

well i guess I am going to have to sneak an old casette player out of the yard then. lol
