A rap cd by SPM should work just right for you.

i ran accross some songs with nice deep bass notes but i don't know if you all like them:

The fast and the furious sound track by Ja rule
2 fast 2 furious sound track by Ludacris
Race against time by Ja Rule
Act a fool by Ludacris
Yeah by Usher
Naughty Girl by Beyonce
Children by Robert Miles

maybe not the top of the chart songs but loads of bass... also Within attraction by Yanni is nice but not so much bass in it. Most of Enegma's songs got lots of bass too.

I always use "Paul Johnson - Get Get Down" to test the bass of any sound system.

Want to test bass?

Sunn O))) is a drone music band that plays like 25 minute songs only in bass chords on the bass guitar and guitar. Their goal is to create "the ultimate low end/bass frequencies" buy sustaining certain chords for a long time. The pack little rooms with like 6 amps. Their main goal is to massage the listeners intestines into forcing them to make a bowel movement. Twenty-five minutes of just pure bass.

LoL, J/P, :P however the band is real and they do make people poo themselves.

If you want a good system test, play any songs by Scooter, a german techno musician. His music has good beats and really pounding bass. Yes...I know...it's techno, but it'll seperate you from the hand-me-down Accord kids who only play gangster rap....not that there is anything wrong with that...

One of the best bass songs I know of, for it's hard hitting low bass, is by Triple 6 Mafia with the song Late Night Tip.

If you download the MP3, get one that is better quality than 128K ... if you can find it, get the 320K version; the compression has not chopped awat the really low frequencies.

Artist: Triple 6 Mafia
Album: Chapter 2: World Domination
Track 15: Late Night Tip

Don't turn it up TOO loud the first time you play the song; you'll see why after you hear it.
