Something i was wondering about (custom cluster)

Post by Wolf-Spirit »

Well i was wondering how hard it would be to disconnect everything from speed to temp meter including the warning lights then removing the cluster and make wooden plate to fit in hole then put in other meters for temp/speed/rpm/some leds for warning lights and maybe even a oil presure meter....

now what i wanted to know is are there any aftermarket speed/etc meters that i would be able to connect to the current sensors installed on the car?.. i mean i never did chek if a speedometer uses the same measurements.. as in 1.2v=120km/h or something...

So would this be possible? i mean people do install aftermarket meter alot cant be to hard to fully remove and replace stock ones?

I only used that pic as an example, i didnt go searching for a good pic. It isnt a huge job provided you know how to hook up aftermarket guages and use a jigsaw to make the mounting plate
