Gear Knob

Post by Joe_Pizzica »

Hey, I have a Daewoo Nubira 2001 manual, was just wondering how to get the gear knob off...From what I can gather it's not a twist one, lol. Just the top knob, not the reverse lever 'thingy'...

Thanks,

Joe.

.. usually there is a small alan screw along the side, and you lossen it, and it will pop off, if not it could be a long bolt from the underside, and if not, the knob screws right on.
other than that.. idk.

Idk, on ours you have to unbolt the whole shift lever and dip it in boiling water and then just pull it off with a rag. Same thing to put it back on.

It doesn't hurt the stock knob removing it with boiling water. It only has to be in there for about a minute, enough to loosen the glue.
