My 1969 Beetle had (and I kept the radio) a Saphire VII AM radio (The Saphire V is pictured, but looks just like it) with mechanical push buttons for changing the stations. There was a single 4" oval dash mounted speaker, just like your truck, but no foam to cover it, only holes in the dash.Erfinder wrote:Hmmm.... my ideal stereo.... it must be the system I have in my 83 Chev truck
AM radio..... can't switch the station because the belt inside the radio is broken ( and yes... my only station is a country station )...
