Difference between AT & MT engine wiring harness?!?!

Post by kinkyllama »

Is there a difference?

I'm putting a new one in to remove my piggy back and MSD system before installing the SMT-7 just to make sure things go right. One auto wrecker I called for one said there's no difference but the dealer needed to know if it was AT or MT and if it had ABS. Would ABS make a difference?

Thanks!
Danny

Manual should be able to run an automatic harness, but automatic will not work with a manual harness.

Main reason being is that you need a plug for the transmission controller on the auto transmission. If your car is manual and non-abs...you should be able to use any harness for the Forenza.
