My guess would be the second, as it seems somewhat more digital, it is harly ever companys head backwards...
But I could be wrong...
Do you have ANY specs? this might help
Check for any output difference

No probs, electronically the 2nd one looks much better and has a larger screen - allthough this is no guarantee... can you check the outputs of them?

i have a 2001 leganza and it has the second one and i think the outputs are like 4x35 watts or something. it works great for me

This stereo sucks! I had that in my 1999 Nubira CDX. It skips the first few sec of evey song on the cd and won't read many CD-R CD+R disks. You are better off getting an after market stereo.[/img]
