So Goldenboy how did you do the fabric interior on the doors? Want to keep mine like the fabric but different color.

Golden, Did you paint your tranny bag, or whatever youd call that part? the bag that goes around the shifter lol nice tech term huh? anyway did you pain that or buy it, if you painted it did you just use krylon or was it a different product ? also where did you find your shifter knob, i dont know havent looked at it in depth but to go into reverse i have a clip i have to pull up and go before first( aka closest to drivers side) i imagine this is the same with all woos, is that a diff shifter or is that clip incorperated in the bag?

thanks

bluesheepbrian: To keep the frabic looking insid and still be able to change the color you will need a good primer and someone to help you make the mix for you paint. You need to put a little bit more tinner then you should usely do to have the paint being more liquid. That way it will go on the door and will keep the original motif on the plastic.

DavesDaewoo: No the leather around the shifter was bought from a local speedshop. As for the knob you need to grind it to be able to remove it. As I cuted it to make it shorter it was done really quick :) BTW you need to remove the reverse safety to be able to do it corectly.

Thought as much. Looks sweet though, well worth spending the cash.

Whats the best way to remove Krylon from the door panels, i painted mine black but i had to retouch them about 15 times this summer because people always scrape the doors with their shoes when they exit the car.. grrr

paint thinnner works lol and what you need to to is get a satin krylon clear coat paint, or semi-gloss polyurethane covering , so it will be harder to scratch it :p (as seen i am a pro in harware and paint lol look on the back of the can, and you will see the maufacturers suggestions on how to remove it :P)
