Lanos Car PC. The start

Post by Scotty »

This is a kind of how to/progress type post. Didnt know where best to put it so plonked it here!

OK heres the progress from start to... well, where i am now

Before i mould anything i did a test. I actually cut the buttons off before i tested it so godd job it worked!!

Image

Then sized it all up with my dash piece and cut it untill it fit well

Image

Then i started to glue the bezel to the dash piece. Normal super glue used for most of this.

Added 1st lot of filler

I Then realised that i had no raised edge at the top to filler it up nicely so i popped down to BnQ n paid bloody 4 quid for a 2 meter bit of wood which i only needed 15 cm of.

Image

Fillered up and test run

Image

I then just did alot of sanding and more sanding and filling ans sanding untill i got to this...... Not fully done but primed. Just needs a few imperfections taken out and its done! Not bad for a 1st attempt
