I found this neat little onboard computer on a website.... it mounts where the clock would go above the radio on the Lanos and shows stuff like fuel economy, temperature, RPM, and date/time.
Here's the link....

And a pic here...
Does anyone know if this is available in North America? I'm into little gadgets and this looks pretty cool.

I'm in Canada, so I like that it's metric.
They have an install manual in russian...

... so I couldn't say how easy it is to install... it would be nice if there was an english one too.

I will translate some part of this manual for you.
There are many such type computers for Lanos here.
So, it can:
count fuel consumption liters/hour, liters/100km, liters total
work as tachometerm speedometer, odometer
clock and calendar (hour, minute, sec, day, month, year) + alarm
diary of trips (# of trip, duration, distance, max and avg. speed)
voltmeter
thermometer
installing described on pages 20-22

I think, you can write to developers and talk with they about shipping.
