Autotap scanner

Post by Croco »

I bought Autotap scanner and it shows me DTC and about 85 params. Even Autotap support doubted I have proved that Daewoo uses J1850VPW (J1850.10.4) protocol. Autotap is calling it as GM Extended set. Some params are mistaken: 2 odometers which doesn't work or total misfire count, but there are still a lot of helpful information.

Even I am now in Poland - my Nubira is US version. To get these parameters you must have OBD-II interface which is obligatory in US since 1996. In Poland and probably some other countries they were using ALDL interface. I am not quite sure about countries from "old" EU.
