I want to have 6"x9" speakers into the rear of my Espero 1.8cd (1996)
And since the Baggage carrier is completely made of steel, what is the best way of achieving this?
Any ideas?
I don't know the standard size of the current speakers.
help!

get mdf or plastic spacers, and screw them to parcel shelf so the magnets of the 6x9s sit in the 6.5' speaker hole. ive done it in a camry before

And that doesn't have a negative effect on the sound quality?
Can you tell me where i can buy those spacers?
