Okay... so as the title says I need ALOT of LEDs (preferrably prewired with resistors) for a "special" project I got going on.
Anyone who knows about LEDs please contact me. I'm looking for a 5-8mm super bright white in a 8l-12k mcd brightness scale..
Thanks alot for your help.
(Oh and I tried looking around and found 95 pages of stuff that didn't apply, but had the word led in them...lol)

Your best bet is eBay. Thats where I've gotten my LEDs from and I've been really happy. Generally any seller is selling about the same product so you can't go wrong. Just be careful of the truly cheap stuff as it tends to be either weak or will change colors and brightness on you (I've had blue LEDs go to green after a while in the car).

Hi,
I made my own footwell neons from hi-res leds n mouted them onto a piece of metal and soldered them up to 10v resistors so it can run off the car but at a low power. Go to

they have loads of leds n resistors, you will need to solder them or use connectors to put the leds n resistors together, it aint hard tho.
