Removal of heaters vents - Lanos

Any idea if the 2 heater vents in the dash(little one near the window post on the drivers side, and 1 above the glove box on the passenger side) just pop out using a flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool? Or are they screwed in from behind the dash?
They are calling out to me to be painted silver!!!!!

most probably screwed from the back... at least i am sure the passenger side one is.
