You have a seatbelt tone?

Anyway, if there is only sometimes a tone, then perhaps the contacts in the seatbelt switch are dirts and only sometimes making contact.
As ooobiserooo asked, is the seatbelt light on the dash coming on with it at the same time or not? Or if the light does come on (or not) please explain how it and the sound turn on or do not turn on at the same time when things are working normally.

Thanks!

the black box is your ecu, there should be a seperate plug that has two wires in it, that is the seat belt connection.
