Oh... and there is more info on the part buying...

The black part that connects is:

*Part No.(Description) --- Unit Price * Qty = Ext. Price
------------------------------------------------------------
*96190708(SENSOR A-DISTANCE) --- $20.76 * 1 = $20.76

The white housing and gear are:

*Part No.(Description) --- Unit Price * Qty = Ext. Price
------------------------------------------------------------
*90375764(GEAR A-DRIVEN,SPEEDOMETER) --- $8.28 * 1 = $8.28

So be warned... make sure you get the part you need specifically.

Just an update... the new distance gear arrived today. The distance sensor and the distance gear/housing went together very easily. I installed it and it's working great! I can now tell how fast I'm driving (without guessing).
