Well, you start with a tacho shell, some prefer soft, others like crunchy. Then you add sasoned meat, shreaded lettuce, cheese, tacho sauce and sour cream. Some people like guacomole and some like salsa.
LOL
Sorry. I could not resist.
Are you going to replace your stock guage display with one that has a tach in it, or are you just going to mount one on the dash?
If you are just adding a dash mounted one, you'll need an inductor from the ignition (usually spark plug #1) to get the timing from the engine, run that wire into the cabin of the car and plug it into the tachometer. Most tachs require a +12VDC wire, a ground and an ilumination for the light at night. The tach kits come with everything you'll need, like the induction wire and all instructions.

I know that on the 1.6L Lanos ECu it's the green and black wire on the second row.
I may be wrong on this as I haven't had to deal with this yet but if you go to http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/daewootech/ there are instructions on there.
I dunno how similar the 1.5L and 1.6L Ecu is.
