Seats etc, Finally In!!!!

Post by Stefan »

Well, I've been waiting around for what seems like ages for parts to arrive. Recently the seats, subframes and steering wheel have turned up so these were trial fitted last week. Rollcage is now arriving at the end of November :)
The seats I feel need lowering slightly, about half an inch. I feel like I'm too high in the seat from what I can remember when it was on the road. Anyhow, here's a couple of pics.

It's starting to look like a car again now

I've also fiddled around with the rad and it's now properly fitted, modified the strut towers and I'm now looking at making a false floor for the drivers side to make up for the 1 1/2" thick sound deadening foam that was there.

They're Cobra Monaco FIA approved seats. I forget the price, they were ordered during the summer...........

If you look on the net I'm sure you'll find better pics and a price.

Nice dude!

Where did you get the steering wheel and hub? Do they make a hub specifically for the Lanos, or does another one fit?

sparco makes a hub. so does isotta (have to get it through tom @ 360dynamics)

the problem with the sparco hub is it has to be manufactured... so you get put on a 8 week waiting list, plus shipping time
