Any audio wires will work fine.

No need for a pic.. all the info you need is in a post somewhere on these forums.. but i cant find them. Look on suzuki forums and there is a link to the post made here... it should be easyier finding the one o suzuki forums than here.

How can i decide some subs over others? Ive found like 10 subs that all fit my specifications.. yet they range from 50-170bux each. Some are dual this dual that.. some are 2ohm and most are 4ohm.

I think im gonna get two of these powered by this:
http://sonicelectronix.com/item_4097.html

The subs are 2ohms.. whats the difference in sound between 2 and 4?

The amp powers the subs perfectly.. and if i feel my car and ears can handle it im gonna put two 5 1/4 subs in my rear door speakers.

the sound difference will not be audible between a 2 and 4 ohm sub.

those subs you picked are dual 2 ohm, 500 watts rms. you would need to wire the subs in series/parallel in order to get a final load of 2 ohms. the amp you picked does 1000 watts at 2 ohms, the hifonics amps are slightly overrated but its a good match. an even better match would be dual 4 ohms, then your subs will get what they want, easy on the gains though.

Wait can you explain in more detail. I thought the amp could power two subs at 500rms @ 2ohms?

the hifonics amps are slightly overrated, meaning they'll put out a bit less then they say they do. however they are great for the money, im not sure exactly how much that amp will put out at 2 ohms but it will be in the 400's im sure.

i think your better off buying those subs in a dual 4 ohm config if available, wiring them in parallel/parallel to get a 1 ohm final load, then you'll easily get 500 rms to each of your subs. be careful with the gains as you can easily give too much power to them, just use a multimeter to set them.

Pretty much everyone slightly overrates there stuff so it should be equal.

I dont understand.. how do you wire it to get 500rms to each sub even at dual 4ohm?
"RMS Power (4 ohms) 500 watts x 1 chan. "
So it should only be able to power two subs at 250rms, riight? no more...

yeh most companies advertise at peak power not rms. a new shop just opened near me that shelf stuff under their RMS rating so its alot better. even then some RMS ratings are overrated. for example, the 1000w Boss amp. that only puts out a couple of hundred rms over 4 channels. not much at all. a 400w clarion puts out more than it.

I still dont understand how dual 4ohm would be better.. i mean.. the amp can only give half the power they crave if i go with the 4.. if i go w/ the 2 they get all the power they want. Plus you said there isnt really much of a difference between the two anyways.

Im probably ordering monday.. been putting it off cuz i may have to get a lawyer for the speeding ticket
