My reverse light does not work so the 1st thing anyone would do is to buy a new bulb, so i did that, connected it, and it still does not work.
Next thing I did was to check the ground, that seems ok. I then made sure there is voltage going through so i put in reverse tested the point with my meter and it showed 12v
I changed the bulb again and still no reverse light! I Have no idea why it is not working, voltage is going through the pins and connections, it just won't light the bulb up!
Could it be something wrong with the current? And what would be the cause of it?

did you buy the correct bulb? compare it to the one you removed
is the new bulb working? try it on the blinkers or so then try the blinkers bulb in the reverse socket
are you sure the pins are not broken or lose?

a problem i had with my car, the blinkers wouldnt work. The bulb was fine and wiring was fine. However, where the wiring connected to the bulb, there was like a 90 degree or sharper bend in the wire, and due to it being such high guage wire, it wouldnt feel connected. after fiddling around with it, it lit up. PUt ur car in reverse, whack the hand brake on, and get out, pop open the light part and just move the wire around directly where it comes out of the bulb.

I have the correct bulb and it works fine through the blinkers, the blinkers bulb does not work in the reverse slot. I'll play around with the connections.
Was you talking about fidling around with the bulb holder bit where you screw the bulb in? or the connection inside the boot where the wire pins meet?
