hi guys,

does disconnecting the battery affect the alarm in any way? or does the alarm have a independent power supply?

thanks for the help... :)

The stock alarm or an aftermarket alarm? If it is stock it is not really an alarm, just a keyless entry system and no it won't be affected in any way.

If it is aftermarket, you might need to reset it, but most new ones retain their memory.

Nothing will happen to it.

You will have to reset the Clock if you got one.

You will also have to enter your radio code to get your radio to work again. If it is for an extended period of time, you will also need to reset your stations.
