ive had no computer for ages, but now im back. Since i left ive done a bit to my sterio. It used to be just a clarion head, 180w splits and 200w 6x9s but now its
and to top it off
the 6x9s are carbon kevlar and are the sweetest sounding things ive ever heard

That looks like a decent little system.
I've always been a fan of Clarion head units.
How do you have the system configured?
Is the HU powering the components and the amp running 100 watts RMS x 2 @ 4 ohms to power the 6x9's?
Are the HU outputs into all 4 channels with 40 watts RMS per channel to power the components and the 6x9's?
The component speakers will sound a LOT better with an amp powering them with 75 watts RMS.

Ok, so each speaker is getting 40 watts RMS @ 4 ohms.
That is almost twice the power the radio's internal amplifier produces, so it will be a big improvement.

AMPING SPEAKERS IS THE WAY!!!
i was amazed with the sound difference, if i do have to ever loose a sub for some silly reason, i will get a decent set of 6x9s (possibly woofer ones) amped, and some good front speakers well placed, and amped too.
i have removed nearly every panel from my boot, and i think with a small mdf ring i might be able to fit a pair of 6x9s in the standard fit area, i will be playing around with this 2moro...anyone shed some more light on this?
