Post by hordanes »

How do you Replace the Back Speakers In a 2000 lanos?

I see the 2 screws, but after that I can not figure out how to remove the side panel..

Thanks!

to remove the back panel with the seat belt you have to take out the seats then the side panels then try not to break all your clips on the part you want off

You actually dont have to remove the seats, it just makes it easier, take it inside or wait for a warmer day, this way the plastic doesnt break, All i did was take the rear hatch cover off, the 2 screws and your able to pry back the black plastic, you need a ratchet with a phillips head because a stubby wont fit, and need alot off patience this way, taking the seats is more time consuming , but this way is more annoying when dropping screws etc, ( if you drop the screw or anything, it slides down to the jack compartment or other compartment on either side

 the seats are out of the car in 2 minutes and back in in another 2 minutes.........

all you have to do is loses 1 screw for the sitting part of the seat and 4 screws to take the backs out.

so your gonna waste more time with not taking the seats out and messing around to get everything out without braking it then just throwing the seats out.
