Has anyone ever wired a keyless entry system in any car? Not the factory "plug-n-play" ones, but the aftermarket ones with a bunch of wires goin' everywhere. Is is a true pain in the ass or will it be something painless for a person with average to above average knowledge of wiring?
Any replys or tips welcomed.
I wanted to get my Dad keyless entry for his Honda for Christmas and I didn't want to start ripping up a brand new car without knowing what I'm getting in to.
Thanks.
Keyless Entry.

why no plug and play ones?
Also most honda's have a reciever installed but no remote so ask your local honda shop (my m8's civic had it and we never knew till we asked a shop for a keyless entry system)
in my daewoo i got a plug and play one from a aftermarket brand i like it really made it so my signallights flash also when i open doors (wasnt on it stock couple of extra wires and a relais fixed that)
