lanos climate control panel exchange advice

Post by mohmedhat »

any one can help me to exchange my below normal climate control panel:

with this smaller one for the leganza:

i'm doing a car pc but the height of my original lanos climate control is not suitable for putting the car pc in the top of it, i was looking for another analog one but smaller so i can fix it in the cassete rack, if you can suggest another one rather than the leganza one please recommend...

thanks in advance...

Just for info I think the mode flaps are cable actuated on Lanos and vacuum actuated on Leganza. Maybe you can trim the Lanos one to fit your requirements?

thanks for your advice, but i will neet to trim big pieces and i will also need to cut the sides and maybe the a/c button too, i think it will be easer if i find a single rack controls without or with little modifications.

you can try to activate the heat control and air direction as both use cables... the problem is with the recycle cable as the panel you want to use uses a bottom so odds are it is using vacuum actuation

i did it long time ago and converted the recycle cable to a bottom but now i'm preparing a turbo project and wonder what will hapen when i'm in boost! the vacuum will be positive pressure and the actuator will act in a reversed manar!
