i have a battery wire off my pioneer deck. Does that have to connect to the battery directly or is that something that i can connect it to else where in my optra 5, The ACC wire i connected to the ACC wire off the stock deck, and the other is illumination wire. Off the stock deck there is + - for illumination should i put them together and then connect it to the pioneer?

With my leganza when i put in my pioneer deck i just spliced my pioneer wiring harness straight onto the original one, using the same colours.
The head deck in your optra has a seperate illumination circiuit?
Your pioneer deck wouldnt, they stay lit up regardless, so NO, you shouldnt connect those wires to your pioneer deck.
As for the battery wire, just connect it to the always on power line which went to your original headdeck.
