Front Panel n Dash Lights Replacement...

Post by whitetiger2nv »

Hey guys i am in the mood for a project..
i wanted to take out the area where all the air conditioning n stuff is and replace all the lights with white lights. i also want to take out the security red flashing light on the other side, and possibly the odometer n stuff to change the back light to white. so basically all the lights within the car to white (possibly LEDs if thats the best way to go.

i own a 2001 hb daewoo lanos.

Any help on type of bulbs and how to remove the areas to get to the lights would be appreciated.

just remove the trim to get to the cluster gauge start from radio, then remove 3 sockets from the cluster and u see there will be bulbs, just get ride off that green "condom" from the bulb and see if it would fit ur style :)

all of the bulbs in the dash have a green rubber cover on them that slips on (the "condom"). buddha was saying that if you remove the green cover it might give you the white color you are looking for. but its my experiance that after you remove the green cover you get a yellowish light, not the white like you want. sorry if we confused you
