Air Conditioning in an Aveo "Value Model"

I recently was given an Aveo. It is the Super Value Model, but it did not have the Air Conditioning Provisions installed at the factory. I live in North Carolina, and prefer living... especially when caught in traffic. Can anyone tell me what gets installed at the factory for the A/C Provisions, and what I might need to upgrade my Aveo to include these pieces?

So I found out that I need to replace the fan with a bigger capacity fan, basically. Now, I just need to know where I can find the install kit other than a dealership. Anyone know?

I'm in the same boat. A VL model without air in Georgia.

What parts are included in the dealer install kit?

Is the evaporator coil already installed in every car or is it added externally somewhere? (I can't imagine a tech tearing the dash apart to install an in-dash evaporator).

Are there online install procedures anywhere? I googled and only found references that the kit exists but no instructions or parts list.
