Guys is there a wiring diagram for the lanos gauge cluster anywhere on the internet? i can't even find it in the service manual, i only find parts there, and on the forum i only found the tach install
Fortunately i have service manuals for most of the hondas out there so i have it's gauge cluster wiring diagram, oh it would take alot of time if i had to take it wire by wire oh btw i have the rpm cluster with 3 plugs in the back and the bigger plug is in the middle

99 1.6 3dr lanos
and thats 10.6 uk gallons, or 48 liters. i know we've covered this a year or so ago, but has anyone actually ever managed to fill their tank up by that much? the most ive ever seen go in is between 38 and 40 liters from the needle being deep in the red.daewoomofo wrote:i know that my fuel guage (in both woos) reads empty after about 10 gallons, but the lanos has a 12.7 gallon tank. it doesnt bother me. at least i know that ill never run out of gas!

I can drive my lanos untill the needle reaches past the middle part of the actual letter E, and it could hold 12.24 gallons. Anything after the middle part of the E she's running on fumes.

also note that the gauge scale doesn't reflect the consistency of fuel usage... i mean the gauge will drop fast from full to 3/4 then slower all the way down... i had my needle at the red mak twice and the fuel warning lamp was not lit (it is working properly)
another piece of info is that the sending unit for the gauge is on the fuel pump body... and it seems that over time the connections on the sending unit gets dirty or develop deposits and cause sluggishness to the gauge
had a friend that got a gauge that never goes over 3/4 even with a full tank... i took off the fuel pump, claned the connectors and put it back... two years now and the gauge is working perfectly up to this day
