For a long time I was baffled by the suspension on the WTCC Lacetti. I assumed that since KW was the sponsor all over teh car, they they made the coil-over kit for the Lacetti... turns out they only make they springs.
The true manufacturer of the dampers is Ohlins. The damper in question is a "universal" touring car damper...
After adding a small heat shield to the reservoir and clocking it to upright, you can see how it goes into the WTCC car. Here is a shop drawing from the actual WTCC car...
I'm still searching for a good enough picture of the WTCC car to show the base... in almost all the GM technical pictures there rotor is in the way.
