Correct offset for 15x7s on a 2001 Lanos Sport?

I've been checking around the site but I've not been able to get a definitive answer.

Most wheel sites list 15x7" wheels in the 38-40mm offset range fitting. Anyone have experience one way or another?

I have a set of Falken Azenis RT215 205/50-15s from my old Civic Si to put on the car, and I know they run a bit wide for that size, so I'm concerned about rubbing.
