2 Questions...About Side indicator removal

k...well guys my next small mission is to take out my side quarter panel indicators and spray them with the black tailight spray....first of all...i read that u guys jus push them in and towards the rear of the car and this makes them pop out...will this scratch the car in any way???? bcuz im like OCD about scratches lol....and 2ndly...is it illegal what im doing...will i pass rego with dark indicator lights???

No the removal process won't scratch it. It has a plastic springy arm clip that will bend back and it'll pop out sweet.

As for the tail light tint, i'd use it sparingly as i have seen it used and it can go VERY dark VERY quick... and gets a lot of unwanted attention.

I dont know if it has been brought up here, but maybe consider something like a glass staining spray paint from a craft store that wont affect the transperancy of the plastic? Then you could make it the same colour as your car! It's something i havent looked into too much just yet though - so i dont know if this is feasible?
