Hello everyone!
For Xmas I am getting a new set of tires (original ones are worn out after only 32,000 miles) and possibly a set of wheels.
Over at the Tire Rack I found something I like with the right bolt pattern but the offset is +48mm (15x6.5) and another I like is +47mm (15x6).
Will either one of those fit okay?
Thanks in advance.

I dont know..but that offset seems high for that size. But I still dont perfectly understand how that works.
btw..if the stock wheels are 6.5" wide i wouldnt do 6" wide. I think they are 6" wide stock but make sure.. you dont want to downgrade.

That seems really high. I dont beleive it would either fit or if it did you probably wouldnt like it. It would be very sucked in far into the fender well.

I think thats wrong. I know for a 18x7.5 wheel you need a at the most +40..no more. So i cant imagine the stock 15s being very clsoe to that numberCHNDROSE wrote:Thanks for the link and the feedback.
I believe the stock wheels have a +45mm offset to start with, but I could be wrong with that.
Checking out wheelmax right now....

Don't know about Reno, but on a Lanos stock offset is 49mm and the wheels are 14x5.5kinkyllama wrote:I think thats wrong. I know for a 18x7.5 wheel you need a at the most +40..no more. Unfortunately it became a mute point. My computer system at home, after applying the latest M$ patches, died. So I am going to throw in a DVD burner and load either the latest SUSE or Fedora linux. Probably go with Fedora since one of my best friends used to work for RedHat. Or I believe a local outfit is offering 12 months of 0% financing for laptops.
Either way, that would only leave me enough $$$ for a crappy set of wheels so I am going to wait for my b'day to roll around. Rather have something I really, really like than settling for whatever happens to be the right price. Everytime I have been ready to add something to the car, something has happened to wipe out my cash. If I were of the religious or superstitious sort, I might say it was a sign. LOL
Thanks to all who replied. I found a local shop that offered a great price on 50,000 mile Kumhos in 195/55/R15 ($55 ea) and they can order some sweet looking wheels.
