are the OEM rear shocks of a lanos filled with oil or gas?

Yeap with oil , get the KYB units ther are good and are very popular for imports also the ride is very good , no doubt about them, my lanos feel good with them :D

so the OEM are not KYB's? i got a quote for OEM shocks and some japaness shocks and the prices are quite similar... the guy told me their is no gas shocks for lanos (at least in Egypt) so unfortunatly i am only limited to those two options.

My understanding is that OEM shocks are oil filled, except for late Lanos Sport version.

Aftermarket units are either oil filled, or nitrogen filled. There are also some exotic ones , which are Krypton Gas filled, and adjustable :) But this also means expensive
