Remaking a Legazna - Opinions wanted.

Post by vjx987 »

Well i have a 2L '98 Daewoo Leganza SX and i've been wanting to re-do alot of it. Currently, all i have done is the audio, which i might add sounds great. What I am planning on doing, is:
(i) Repaint - Im thinking black but not sure
(ii) Rims - Mags or chromies, what ever looks better
(iii) Lower it.

Now, i need peoples opinions. Could you please tell me what you think, post some pictures and help me decide what to do.

Thanks!

This is basically what it looks like

i also live in sydney, and also have a 98 leganza. Black looks good, but change the grill to something that isnt the daewoo emblem, also the rear lip spoilers from the nubiras look damn good on the leganzas (i have one on mine)

yeh i think im just gonna rim it and MAYBE drop it but paint will wait for atleast a year. its good seeing other leggy owners in syd, they are quite the rarity here.

mine is also an auto, but i blew the original trans and have a later model one in it with shorter gears. Its quicker then civics, accords, lancers, corollas, SSS pulsars (even manuals) and just about anything else small. Plus i can actualy have 3 people in the back

yeh i was on Old Northern Road (a major road for those of you not in australia) in the right lane and a SSS pulsar with exhaust, dropped, rims, sound and what sounded like a pod rocked up next to me. turns out it was a friend of mine and he was like lets race...

so i put my gear into 1st (my car is auto) and just floored it, and when it sounded high enough i raised to second and continued like this. the SSS had a faster take off, but by the time i switched to 2nd i was back up to him and then took off so much faster than him. i felt great after that haha. i love my woo :)
