Wiper Arms

Post by BosnianLanos »

My wiper arms started to rust a year or two back so I sanded them down, primed them, painted them the color of my car, and clear-coated them. They looked good for about a year but now the rust is starting to come back through my paint chips. I think it is time to give in and buy new wiper arms.

Does anyone have any spare wiper arms from a parts car Lanos that are in good condition? PM me with details.

If not, does anyone know the reference number to the wiper arms of some other car or the size of the stock wiper arms on the Lanos so that I could go hunting for them?

Help! This is one of the last "ugly" things on my car and I'm trying to go for a clean look.

Thanks!

well if you'd like, I can try to find a set of wiper arms and have them powdercoated for you. I have mine done and it's wayyyyyy better than paint. I used to paint them but ended up having to repaint them every year.

That would be cool, I added them to your "Adopt a Part" post. How much do you think wiper arms+powdercoating would be? New ones from Daewoo are $16 Each, and I really wouldn't want to spend more than like $25 on them (both). I'm thinking if you can find the wiper arms for like a couple bucks each at the junkyard (I doubt it would much more than that) powdercoating shouldn't be more than maybe $20?

IDK, PM me with other info.
