Hi all, new to this forum. I recently bought a 1998 nubira wagon. the front end has a couple of problems. Accelerating the car pulls to the left, and decelerating, or changing gear it veers right, more pronounced in lower gears, also when cornering briskly, or hitting a bump in a corner the front will suddenly "hook in" a bit tighter, seems to happen both right and left corners similarly.
A check under the front reveals nothing loose, only the lower control arm bushes appear to be failing, but not to the point of looseness yet. Obviously I will replace these bushes, but just wondered if anyone has encountered similar symptoms, and what the solution was.
Thanks for any help, Don.

Control arm bushing is a weak point on the Nubira.
You need a press to change bushings. Best is to change complete control arm.
Start a search with both terms "control arm" in this section to get lot of infos.
