best OEM replacment: KYB GR2, Monroe are said toi ber great too but in here they cost twice as much as the KYB premium so no thank you.

best high performance: KONI i guess... they cost 7 times as much as the KYB premium.

i was told that the KYB premiums i got are better than the OEM (refer to the pic in my previous posts) and the GR2 are better than the premiums so i guess the GR are far better than the OEM.

KYB GR2's on Ebay

Post by simon609zp »

Just bought a complete set off of ebay for $150 including shipping for my 2001 Lanos. I'll let you know how installation goes after I get them.

Here's the link

I'm sure they are. If you look at his other auctions he uses the same picture for lots of different vehicles. I e-mailed him the make model and year of the car as well as the VIN, so hopefully I'll be okay.

another test today and the car is far more stable... doesn't sway that much as it used to do... still have some rattling noise at the back and i can't tell if it is suspension or the junk in the trunk.

yeah... a big ass tool box full of all kinds of wrenches, sockets, screw drivers, etc and a 2 ton jack and neumirous cans of dash cleaners, brakes fluid, wiper fluid and all... those are some 40 kgms in weight and can be very noisy.
