Looks like you were right. I was always under the assumption that the second number was the number of mm the sidewall height was. I need new tires anyways so I'm going to recalculate them.

I want 225 width.

daewooluvr We are both wrong :) Both tires are not exacly substitutes of 185/60/14 www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

But front mounted IC would improve the looks even better...
